Welcome to 1001 Hi‐Fi                                                           

Welcome to your monthly news bulletin, presented by
1001 Hi‐Fi Stereo Museum. 

This site contains pictures and short desriptions of a fabulous privately owned Hi‐Fi collection, of over 500 units (aug. 1st. 2010), consisting of CD players, cassette tape recorders, reel to reel recorders, tuners, turntables, amplifiers, systems etc. You can see them by selecting the desired category from the top menu. 

There is also a DEDICATED ROOM where this collection is displayed. On the picture above you can see some of them sitting on the left hand side, as you enter the room. In this collection you will find everything from battery operated portable record player up to separate pre‐power amplifiers or top of the line cassette recorders. That's exactly what manufacturers built in the golden age of Hi‐Fi, when their real aim was to offer Hi‐Fi for EVERYBODY. 
All the pictures you see here are original photos of units from the collection. For your Hi‐Fi experience you will also see, 
a collection of photos from vintage Hi‐Fi advertisements or vintage Hi‐Fi catalogs. 
You can "click" all the photos to enlarge them for a much clearer view.

In this special edition of Hi-Fi around the world we show you a KENWOOD system that was the EISA Award winner 
in 1992-93 in the Compact System category. 
The next edition will show a rare, but very famous AKAI product, so stay tuned.
